We now have a mailing list as part of our new web page. A mailing list is an email address that people can send email to and have it automatically sent to everyone who has subscribed to that list. It is useful in many situations.

For a club like ours it can be used to send out announcements, to send out the club newsletter, to have discussions of events or issues that concern our club and our members, i.e. discussions about dancing, about singles events, arranging car pools to events, or many other things. The addresses for the members of the list are handled automatically, so you can just rely on the mailing list and know that anything sent to members@lists.singlesquaresofsunnyvale.org will be delivered to everyone who is subscribed to that list.

Join our growing mailing list. Below are the instructions for signing up:

  First type your email address in the box below, make sure the Subscribe button is selected and then click Send. (This form can also be used if you ever wish to unsubscribe.)

  The list will automatically send you an email response, asking you to verify that you are the one that asked to be subscribed.

  Reply to that email (just click reply, you don't need to add anything) and you will be subscribed.

If you have not received the welcome email, you have not successfully subscribed to the list. If you think you are subscribed but have not received the welcome email, or any other email from the list, check your spam filter settings, you may be inadvertently blocking email from mailing lists.
